Lazy Tuna: Borrowed From Firenze

Tired of cooking the same old stuff, I chose a recipe from the Cooking Channel called Fabio’s Lazy Tuna, courtesy of David Rocco and his show Dolce Vita.  All I had to buy was the tuna – but I think this dish would make a great side without it.

I love layers of flavor and this dish has it all.  The fennel seeds and lemon zest give this simple creation depth and complexity.  Thumbs up to the chef.

Almost ready for the oven.

The finished meal.

  1. WOW!!! Thanks for this recipe! I just made it and its unbelievable! I didn’t have fresh tuna so I used a salmon filet. I’m not a fresh tuna fan anyway. The fennel gives it such a burst in your mouth! Thanks again.
